Bridges for Language offers a medical interpreting course that gives participants the knowledge and needed skills to provide competent medical interpreting services.
We have expert trainers that use group management techniques, encouraging the active participation of trainees during the course in order to develop their listening, memory and public speaking skills. They also learn techniques to be more assertive. The importance of asking questions instead of assuming and of being team players is also highlighted during the training.
Our training follows the 1964 Title VI Federal Civil Rights Guidelines.
Once participants have finished their training they will receive a certificate of achievement.
